vanMaarth Arts at Create Hope Studios

The ARTful U program at Create Hope Studios is taught from a Biblical Worldview by our incredibly talented artist in residence, Celia van Maarth. Students are encouraged to explore their creativity as they develop their art skills in painting, drawing, and sculpting in a fun studio environment. The nine month program includes a first semester Fall Art Show and a Spring Art Show that is on display at the Create Hope Studios Spring Showcase Event in April.

ARTful U Teen Art Night
The first Thursday of each month
Ages 11 to 16

6 to 8 pm (5:30 pm for pizza and hangout in the game room).

Classes are billed in 9 monthly payments, deducted on the first of every month.
Weather Policy:
Create Hope Studios will close during inclement weather such as snow, ice, and tornados. Communicating weather closures will be done by the class instructor.

Celia vanMaarth

Art Instructor
Celia van Maarth is a visual artist and enjoys working with a variety of art mediums and techniques. She has taught art to local children in the Williamson County area for more than 15 years as the director and art instructor at Arts Alive and ARTful U. Her passion for encouraging children to explore their God given gift of creating has overflowed to inspiring others of all ages. She believes that with guidance, patience and practice, everyone is teachable and able to discover their own unique inner artist while developing their creative potential.
